English Childcare Teacher (Japanese Nursery School Program)

Job Description We are looking for an English-speaking teacher to work at one of our Japanese nursery schools in Hiroshima. This position is part of our company’s English program, which brings English play-based learning into regular Japanese nursery schools. You will work alongside Japanese nursery teachers, caring for Japanese children aged 1–6. During English Time, you will lead fun activities such as songs, games, simple conversations, and play in English. Outside of English Time, you will take part in regular nursery school childcare, supporting children in their daily routines such as playtime, meals, and classroom activities. This is a full childcare position, not a part-time English class. After joining, you will receive training and support so you can learn Japanese nursery school routines and childcare methods. Responsibilities: ・Lead play-based English activities (songs, games, communication) ・Interact with children in English during daily life ・Support daily childcare (meals, play, clean-up, routines) ・Work in a team with Japanese nursery teachers ・Help children grow emotionally, socially, and linguistically Requirements： ・Fluent English ・Must currently live in Japan ・Able to work with children aged 1–6 ・Willing to learn Japanese childcare practices ・Physically active and responsible ・Positive and cooperative attitude Childcare or teaching experience preferred Important： ・This job is based at a Japanese nursery school in Hiroshima ・Work visa sponsorship available ・Only applicants living in Japan will be considered"
